Tim Brenner went to Hibbard Elementary, then on to Von Steuban Metro Science Center. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in physical education from Northwestern Illinois University and will soon receive a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. He has been teaching for eight years, with the last two at St. Syms. His professionalism, cheerful attitude and genuine love for his job make him an asset to the faculty. Tim is married with two children. He works as an IHSA umpire, is an amateur astronomer and member of the Adler Planetary Society. He is currently doing volunteer work for the Stardust Project searching extraterrestrial particles brought back from space by using a virtual microscope. Tim has published a book on Childhood Obesity.
