Dear Parents,

The budget process for the 2008-2009 academic year is now complete. The Board of Specified Jurisdiction, Principal, Pastor, and Business Manager all had input in this process. Major issues to contend with were an increase in teachers’ salaries and an increase in health insurance premiums.
The subsidy or “gift” from the parish to school families to help keep tuition at an affordable level amounted to $132,000. Please note that approximately 70% of our Sunday offertory collections come from families that do not have children in school. That is why it is important that you come to church each weekend with your family and use Sunday envelopes to support the parish financially.

In view of these facts, the Board has approved the following tuition fees for the 2008-2009 academic year:

If we were to break this down, for one child you are paying about $19.00 per day, or $3.20 per hour for your child’s education.

Just a reminder that all fees were to be paid by April 16^th for the 2007-2008 school year, this includes tuition, fundraising, service hours etc. The first payment for the 2008-2007 academic year is due June 16^th.

According to our tuition fee payment policy, “All financial obligations, including service hours, must be current in order to participate in any end-of-the year activities, including graduation. A diploma will not be provided unless all payments are made.” I am reminding parents who have children in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, or Eighth Grade, your child will not be able to participate in graduation activities/ceremony if your fees are not paid. For eighth grade this also includes the eighth grade social and the eighth grade awards night and dinner.
